Country Bars

Here is a list of the best country bars in and around Denver, CO.  Each bars has their best nights to go, typically the best nights at each bar is on ladies night, where girls pay no cover and drink for free.  Each bar has their own styles of Country Western Dancing, everything from the Cowboy Cha-cha to Country Swing dancing.  We can meet you at most of these Bars and give you a Private Dance Lesson.

Cowboy Lounge

Cowboy Lounge - Country Bar - LodoCowboy Lounge:

The only country western bar in lower downtown, Cowboy Lounge offers both country and rock music. With Denver’s rich history in cowboy lore, Cowboy Lounge is a natural piece of LoDo’s character. The atmosphere captures the true Wild West with its western cowboy flare, knobbed wood furniture and leather couches. Guests enjoy a spacious dance floor, two bars and two movie screens in the main room and a jumbo screen in the VIP room. The venue is known as a unique space for social, corporate and charitable events.

Best Nights: Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays
Pros:  They allow flips and aerials, they have a spacious dance floor, great drink specials, and lots of people know how to dance.  Ladies Night is Thursday Night, with free drinks all night for the ladies.
Cons:  It gets to crowded on the dance  floor around 11:00pm which makes it hard to dance.  Its a $5 cover after 10pm so get there early.

Stampede

Stampede - Country Bar - Aurora Stampede:

Since 1992, Stampede has been Colorado’s premiere Country Bar & Dance Club.  Come early to our famous Wednesday Night – Denver’s biggest Ladies Night. Dance to the latest Country music around our spacious dance floor and get a cold one at one of our six bars. Watch all the action from our balcony Mesquite Grill that serves up delicious food.

Wednesday
Pros: Girls drink free on Wednesday which brings in lots of people out in the middle of the week and lots of people know how to dance.
Cons: They don’t allow flips and aerials.  It a circular dance floor and there are lots of line dancers who occupy most of the dance floor, leaving little room to two-step, triple-step and swing dance.

Grizzly Rose

Located in Denver, Colorado, The Grizzly Rose is recognized by the Country Music Association, as one of the Top Clubs in the country. We offer great concerts by some of the Nations top recording artists.

Best Nights: Thursdays – Ladies Night 21+   Sundays – 18+
Pros: Thursday nights are ladies night and they have a Large Dance Floor.  They also have excellent concerts on the weekends with big name country artists.
Cons: They don’t allow flips and aerials.  It gets pretty crowded on Sundays with so many 18+ dancers.

Sundance

 Sundace - Country Bar - Fort Collins, COSundance:

Sundance Steakhouse & Saloon has been host to one of the best and most favored dance floors in Northern Colorado. At the Sundance, we take our dancing seriously. That’s why we take great care to maintain our dance floor. WILD WILD WEST TUESDAYS. Must be 18 or over and have photo ID to enter, $8 cover for 18-20, $6 cover for 21 and over (must wear wristband to drink). Cover starts at 5 p.m. for drink specials. 25¢ wells and drafts until 11 pm. Live music! Free shuttle available.

Cactus Canyon is conveniently located on Highway 34 at 17th ave just outside of the Greeley Mall. The newest bar in Colorado Springs with live music, an awesome dance floor, huge fish bowl drinks, and they encourage as many stunts as you want to do!!  They have a perfect setup for their country bar with an excellent theme throughout the entire bar.
